Flub-A-Dub: Fantastic Poses

I love this cartoonist, who I'm pretty sure also drew this great Andy Panda story. The drawings have that Fred Moore "Little Whirlwind" feel. Really bold poses with tons of appeal.

Great! In fact, I started collecting Dell's Howdy Doody because of this artist. I think he did a lot of that book as well, or at least most appearances of this character. I am assuming that this story is from a Howdy Dood comic as well?

First time seeing this. What a crazy character. Love the pot of flowers on (her?) head.

HOWDY DOODY is just a tiny bit ahead of my time, but this character always seemed like the most interesting puppet. It was kind of a fanciful hybrid of a platypus and a dog.

I read somewhere that a top Disney artist was assigned to making the puppets (and their artwork) more appealing after the show got up and running. Could it have been Milt Neil? Who ever it was may have also done this comic, it's really nice!

Or maybe it was Milt Shaeffer. I always get those two Milts confused!
